Rig fenders for alongside docking (starboard or port as advised by the office).

Welcome to the most protected anchorage in the Caribbean. Entering the bay is straightforward, provided you follow the designated channel to avoid the shallow reef and mangroves.
Approach: Stay centered in the marked channel; the bay is safe for vessels with a draft of up to 7 feet.
Draft Sensitivity: Note that depths decrease as you approach the marina hotel, dropping to 3.5–4 feet near the restaurant area with a soft mud bottom.
Visual Landmarks: Look for the shimmering clouds over Mount Isabel de Torres to the east and the lush mangrove borders that define the harbor entrance.
Official Check-In Process (Despacho)
All vessels entering the Dominican Republic must clear customs and immigration. Luperón is a designated Port of Entry, making the process convenient for our guests.
Arrival Notification: Upon entering the bay, fly your yellow "Q" flag and contact the "Luperón Port Authority" or "Commandancia" on VHF Channel 16.
On-Board Inspection: Expect officials from the Armada (Navy), MIGRACIÓN (Immigration), and ADUANAS (Customs) to visit your vessel for a standard inspection.
Required Documentation: Have your original boat registration, last port clearance (Zarpe), and passports for all crew members ready for review.
Tourist Cards: Tourists can legally drive for up to 30 days upon arrival using their entry documentation.

Dockage Assistance: Contact Puerto Blanco Marina & Hotel as you clear the channel for assistance with alongside dockage.
Free Concierge: Once cleared, our staff can assist with local SIM cards (Claro/Altice), transport to town via Tuk-Tuk, or arranging local tours.
Pet Protocol: If traveling with pets, ensure they remain on a lead at all times while on the property.
